A hotline has been set up by many volunteer organizations which have banded together to help people in the southern towns of Israel.
The hotline puts to good use the talents of volunteers from all the organizations involved and is still looking for more volunteers, both professionals in the helping professions as well as people with skills in every area.
If you are in the south and need assistance, please call. Help is waiting.
If you have skills to contribute, please join the volunteer staff.

Arab Terrorists arrived at the Hawara checkpoint (South of Nablus, outside of Shechem) Wednesday morning. During security inspection, a terrorist drew a 30 centimeter dagger and attempted to stab the checkpoint commander. The commander gained control over the terrorist and transferred him to Israeli security forces interrogation. Five Arab gunmen were arrested. Border Policemen searched their vehicle and found seven handguns.
This Monday, Standing Together Volunteers will be meeting at 10:15 AM at Tzomet Tapuach and continuing on to the Army Base and Checkpoint outside of Shechem to show our support for the soldiers who risk thier lives to thwart terrorists.
They are seeking volunteers and donations of drinks and snacks to distribute to the soldiers. Email info@stogether.org for more information
MachsomWatch and other groups, who establish a presence at the checkpoints and engage in provocative actions to prevent the soldiers from doing their jobs properly, exacerbate the dangerous situation at checkpoints all over Israel. Standing Together aims to counteract their efforts.
In order to support our soldiers serving at the checkpoints and let them know that the people of Israel supports them and appreciates the difficult work they do, Standing Together and Women in Blue and White will be there distributing treats and saying thank you.
To join Standing Together to distribute treats to soldiers at other times, contact info@stogether.org or call David Landau at 050-558-0822 to set up an appointment.
