Supporters of an independent Israel dusted off their demonstration clothes and headed for the streets in Jerusalem this evening as Mitchell and his 2 colleagues arrived to continue their "friendly" pressure on PM Binyamin Netanyahu.
People began streaming in Paris Square in the center of the city from all over the country to begin on their way to the US Consulate.
The spirited demonstrators seemed in almost a holiday spirit as one elderly man responded to the question of why spirits were running high saying that it felt good to be out doing something positive to show support for a government laboring to stand firm under the most pressure any Israeli government has has to withstand from its biggest ally.
