It's no news that the Obama administration takes every opportunity to pressure Israel about internal affairs.
President Obama, similar to every other American president since Dwight Eisenhower, wants to glorify his place in history as being The One who gets an Israeli-Arab agreement signed. He may be the president with the least grace and finesse in his attempts but he is no different from his predecessors in his puddle-deep grasp of the ramifications of his chosen strategies.
He differs in his bullying tactics and in his disregard for the true nature of the friendship between his country and Israel.
Using the club of shunning diplomatic meetings between US Special Envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell and democratically elected Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Obama has transgressed basic recognition of Israel as an equal partner and long time ally.
Show support for Israel as an independent democracy in general and the right of Jews to live normal lives in Yesha by demonstrating on the day Mitchell is arriving...6:30 PM at Paris Square, near PM's house. Approximately 8 PM -- march to American Consulate on Agron Street.
